Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring people with me? If my significant other/friend/family member has an appointment at the same time as me, can we come in together?

You can bring one friend along, but they will need to stay in the waiting area for the duration of your tattoo. The only exception to this is if you are a minor getting pierced, in which case you are allowed to bring a guardian with you.

Are touch ups free?

No. We no longer offer free touch ups. Due to the increase in the cost of supplies, touch ups start at $50 and the price increases depending on the extent of the touch up. Areas we do not guarantee (wrist and hand, feet, neck and face) will pay our minimum+ depending on tattoo.

Can I see my tattoo design in advance of my appointment? Will the tattoo artist draw something up for me if I am unsure of my idea?

We hope that you’ve done your research and we trust that once you’ve picked an artist, you are confident in their ability to execute the design to your specifications. We are happy to discuss your ideas with you in a consultation, during which time we can iron out any details before creating a final design. We will not send out drawings/sketches/versions in advance of your appointment, but instead, we will have a design ready for your scheduled appointment, and we can edit and make changes at that time.

Can I do a consultation over the phone/through video chat?

We offer in person consultations and phone consultations(no video chat). We ask that you are as thorough as possible in your emails, and phone calls and provide reference photos if possible(in email). Also, please come alone to the consultation. Thank you!

Can I bring outside food/drink into the shop?

We prefer food is consumed outside of the shop. If you are here for a long appointment and would like to bring snacks or lunch, that’s perfectly fine. We just ask that you take your trash out with you. Beverages are also fine but the same rules apply.

Why do I need to leave a deposit?

While most of you wouldn’t miss an appointment for anything, there are unfortunately folks who don’t even give us a heads up when deciding to not show up. Despicable, we know, but it’s true. This messes up our schedule, and our ability to fill the time slot with short notice. This is our livelihood, and we rely on the appointments that are booked in our schedule to show up. You can either leave cash or card information, and if we take your card info, you are not charged unless you do not give us 48 hours notice before cancelling your appointment. Your cash is given back to you upon arrival to your appointment.

YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES.

Can my kids come?

This shop is 18 and older, as 18 is the required age in New Hampshire to receive a tattoo. The only exception to this rule is for piercings, in which underage clients (ages 8+) may come into the shop while accompanied by their parent (additional children are not allowed to come into the shop while this is being performed). We are an open shop, and we don’t want anyone to be distracted or injured. There is also mature language and semi-nudity that may occur, because it is a tattoo shop, after all!

Can my 15+ child get tattooed with parental consent?

Hard no. It is illegal in the state of New Hampshire to tattoo anyone under the age of 18.

Can you mix my deceased loved one’s ashes into my tattoo ink?

Unfortunately, no. We cannot mix outside materials into our ink for sanitary and liability reasons.

PLEASE be sure to practice good hygiene when coming for an appointment. We promise we will as well. We shouldn’t have to have this bit in here, but here it is.

If you are late to an appointment we will charge you for that time missed.

If you are a no call/no show for your appointment(emergencies being the exception), we reserve the right to not rebook you and likely won’t. It’s rude and we don’t like that one single bit.
